Have I mentioned how excited I am about this project? This is the orphanage project Sis. L and I (along with others) have dreamed about for years... and it's finally coming to life! The property has been purchased and construction has started. We drove out to visit the land this week... and it's PERFECT for H.O.M.E! It's a bit in the country but only 25 minutes from the city. It's quiet and peaceful...surrounded by gorgeous volcanos... full of fruit trees...just perfect!
The plan is to start with an administrative building, a multi-use building (with a game room, dining hall, kitchen, etc), and 3 little houses for the children. There's room for many more houses, soccer fields, a playground, garden, and so on. I cannot wait to see this vision come to life! I'm so glad I'm here to be a part of it!
P.S. There is a building complete that I somehow managed to not take a picture of...oops! =(

Excuse the mess...they are in the middle of building the external wall...which makes a huge mess! It'll look MUCH better in the near future!
