Friday Fun!

This week was a Bible school week.....meaning classes everyday. Add in trips out to the orphanage property and Sis. L's car troubles, and it had the potential to be an insanely busy week. As it were, however, I had Tuesday and Thursday off. =) I had errands I needed to run...banks to visit, groceries to buy, and other "settling" things to do. And, I didn't want to leave my two young housemates, the girls, alone for the entire week. So, all in all, it was a great week!

At the Bible school, I helped run the bookstore, organize stuff, update computers, file papers, etc. There's always plenty to do to keep one busy and it's fun to be around all of the students. To see pictures of the Bible school, click HERE. Bro. T has put a bunch of them on his facebook wall. =)

Now, for our fun of the week... =)

We (meaning the girls and I) decided to make Friday a fun night. We decided on a menu of bar-b-que wings and fries and invited Sis. L to join us. I wish I had photos...it was soooo good! S, the oldest, cooked the wings and did a fabulous job! Yum!

For desert, we decided to try a recipe for baked donuts that I found on pinterest.

The after prep waiting time wasn't fun... you definitely can't be in a hurry. But, the rest of the donut making was awesome! We had so much fun! The girls loved it! I'd say that the evening was a success...a great, relaxing start to the weekend. =)

P.S. The taste was pretty good.... if you've never had a Krispy Kreme! Hard to compare to that! =)
