Feels Like I'm Home!

We made it!  Our trip here started by leaving the house at 4:15 a.m. My sweet Paw-Paw and cousin, Dakota, came to the airport to help Mom and me lug my 2 suitcases, carry-on, and Mojo!

A blurry pic with my airport send-off crew... love these 2! =)

The flights went well... no issues at all. Mojo was a little nervous on the first one but he was happy as long as I was dropping treats in (imagine that!). He even slept half of the second flight! Praise God we didn't have any howling, escaping, sickness, or other drama!

Sis. L was at the airport to greet me, smiling and waving! Man, I've missed this awesome lady! We introduced Mo to her yard (and her pet turtles), ran some errands, and chatted up a storm. It's amazing how we can just pick up like it hasn't been years since we've seen each other!

Mojo, checking out Ricky and Lucy... Sis. L's turtles

Mojo also got an introduction to Chico, his new roommate. I think these two are going to hit it off really well. Chico wasn't too sure of him at first but he's already coming around. What a huge relief!

The T family has been busy catching me up on all of my new responsibilities. I think I'm grasping it all... though time will soon tell.

Words can't describe how thankful I am to be here. It truly feels like I'm home. Call me crazy, but it's true. =)  I love so much about this country... the people, the food, the gorgeous landscape, the weather... All of the sad emotions I had about leaving my friends, family, and country for a year are replaced with a feeling of peace. I know I'm where God wants me for the time being. Thank you for helping make this trip possible!

P.S. I haven't been carrying my camera around... a shame, I know. More pictures will be coming soon. =)

There is nothing like the feeling of being in the center of God's will. Such a feeling of peace and oneness with Him. May the Lord bless you.
