Zip Lining...Demolition..and the Orphanage

Katie and I (along with a lot of others from the group) went on an AWESOME zipline. Thankfully, this time my ziplining experience didn't include any falls..heehee.

We zipped down the side of a volcano...San Jorge. There were a total of 8 ziplines. The first was around 430 feet long and about a half a km above the ground (waaaay over the tops of the trees). I wish I could remember all of the specifics. Destry, do you remember or did you by any chance take a picture of the signs?

Anyway, it was soooooo incredible! I loved it!

Thursday, we worked at the Bible School. This group really worked! We were all so very impressed. They acomplished way more than we figured possible! They painted, tore down walls, even took down a roof. It was great!

Friday, we made one of my favorite trips - Mazatenago to visit the orphanage! I absolutely love getting to visit the kids. They are just precious. I wish I could just pack them all up with me. You guys would love them too...I know it! They have 5 new kids. Four of the new kids are siblings. The oldest is 13 and the youngest is 5. They are gorgeous! The other new one is a baby. She arrived at 10:30 the day we were there.

This little guys is one of the siblings...he's 8.

The youngest of the siblings...isn't she a doll?

Hanging with the girls..

Loving the new toys

The newest member of the crew. This baby had only been there a few hours. Poor thing...she was pretty dirty with several rashes and I'm fairly certain she had lice. That didn't stop us from loving on her though!

Go Amber and Katie! You are so brave! Bring the kids home, I think you can fit that baby in a piece of luggage, then drop her off at my door :) Hurry Home!

Those children look so sad, but happy at the same time! I so wish I could be there, but then I probably wouldn't want to leave without them!
