Things We Love - Part 2

24. Gorgeous views

25. Sis. Lynne's Turtles - Ricky and Lucy

26. Coffee Cookie things - shortbread semi-sweet cookies for dipping in coffee - sooooo yummy

27. Sis. Lynne's backyard

28. Our Guards - these two are our favorites. We cracked them up on more than one occasion.

29. Hiper Piaz - Super Walmart on crack...so much is going on at this store 24/7, it's awesome!

30. Miraflores - a super cool mall
31. Josefina - our housekeeper. She's so adorable!
32. The Zoo

33. Paiz in San Cristobal (where we lived) - Piaz is owned by Walmart.

34. Muchas Gracias & Bien Provecho - the standard line you say when getting up from a meal and the standard response.

35. The Freezer - Sis. L has everything anyone could possibly want to eat in there...looking through it is like opening christmas presents

36. Watermelon and Pineapple - always perfectly ripe and really cheap

37. The hippy "peace Jesus" - I think you can see why we called him that...

38. Gorgeous flowers - everywhere and all the time

39. Palm Trees

40. The Thompson Family - they rock! We didn't get a picture of the whole family together. =(

41. Kool-aid - we drank it by the gallons while we were there

42. Chocolate dipped frozen bananas - This one is Katie's - I'm not a banana fan.

43. The "gringo smile" works every time - and yes, we would use it. =)

44. Hand waving instead of using blinkers - you stick your hand out and people immediately let you over. Blinkers don't mean a thing.

45. The Mini Eiffel Tower

46. Heavenly Coffee

47. Hermano Orlando - Bro. Brad's assistant who would help us with our spanish. =)

48. Chuck E. Cheese's - we went last saturday with the Thompson boys and had an absolute blast. =)

Oh, guess who is taking Spanish beginning next week?

Yep, me. AND, Veronica is taking it with me. Even when I'm fluent, you will still be my most favoritist translator, lol.

Hello!

I found your blog from Tina P and her blog from Natalie H. I go to Cornerstone Revival Center. I've seen you a bunch of times before, but I don't think we've ever actually met.

Anyway, I just thought I'd say HI. I enjoyed scrolling through and reading your adventures on the mission trip. Welcome back to Alabama.
