Katie and I drove to St. Louis to help Sis. Lynne with the Guatemala booth. We had soooo much fun! We left my house at 4 a.m. on Friday and made it to St. Louis around 12.

First sighting of the arch...woohoo!

We thought these were cool

Bubble tea - in St. Louis! Can you believe it?

Katie is a big fan now too.

Saturday, we worked the booth from a little before 9 until 11 that night. We only left for a quick lunch at The Old Spaghetti Factory around 2. We love this restaurant!

Cool view of the arch

Katie - with our unique hotel in the background. It had the most unusual layout.
I somehow got stuck wearing a burka. I kind of got roped into it...I don't really even know how it happened or what the purpose was, all I know is I was definitely wearing a burka (that strongly resembled the grim reaper) around General Conference.

The donning of the burka

Katie had WAY too much fun with this.

Well, this burka led to the prank of GC 2009. Shaun, a previous AIMer to Guatemala, and I went around the corner and switched places. He went back and scared the missionary to Egypt half to death. It was soooooooo funny! Definitely provided our entertainment for the night. =)

This is how I sold sombreros..heehee. Don't let Katie fool you...she only had this hat on long enough to take this picture. She gets such a kick out of seeing me in these situations, I don't know why she doesn't join in on the fun...haha.

Sombrero - special price for you, pretty lady!
