It feels good to be in Asia again. I'd forgotten how clean everything is, how polite the people are, and how modern it is. I really like it!
The director of the office I'm interning in and his assistant met my plane. And stepping outside was like stepping into a sauna. I know I keep talking about how humid it is here but wow, there really just aren't enough words to describe. I got settled into my temporary apartment (mine isn't available until August 1) and I sacked out.
I started at the office the next morning. There is the director, his assistant, and a product manager. All 3 are extremely nice and speak excellent English. I'm really enjoying working with them!
I've been so tired that I haven't done a single thing touristy or even not touristy for that matter. The 13 hr time difference and 23 hour flight add up to some serious jet lag. I haven't been in a single store yet. The first day, I had lunch in the office building, came home and went straight to bed without even eating supper. Yesterday, the director treated us all to a lunch of Mongolian bbq..very yummy! Once again, I came straight home after work. Today, I ventured down to the Subway for lunch.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I dropped the iron on my food yesterday...ouch! The burn isn't that large but it looks pretty bad...here's a picture for y'all. You know I have to document my injuries..=)
