Spanish Concert!

Marcos Witt came to Birmingham!!! Of course, that was like a dream come true for me and Katie - we love his music! Martin was pretty pumped about it too but he ended up having to work so that was a bummer. It didn't stop Katie and me from going though - oh no!

We started out by going to a Mexican restaurant for dinner so we could get into the Spanish groove. =) We got to the concert venue soooo stinking early! The website said the concert started at 7:30 and it really started at 8 so Katie and I were there 2 hours early..haha. That didn't phase us though.

The concert was absolutely amazing! Marcos Witt is extremely talented and he sang all of our favorites! We were having an absolute blast. I'd say there were around 5,000 people there. There were only a few other white people there....I think like 3, haha. It felt like we were in Guatemala again so we were right at home. =)

So yeah, it was fabulous! Katie and I haven't been able to spend much quality time together since we've been home so it was just an awesome night all around!
