Lake Trip

Every year, my family loads up on the pontoon boat and takes a little lake trip. We usually head to Lake Guntersville and up the Tennessee River. Once, we even boated all the way to Tennessee!


This year though, we only went to Joe Wheeler State Park and spent the night at the lodge. We boated back down the river the next day. It was a lot of fun. Just being out on the lake is so relaxing.

Friday, the weather was nice. Saturday, it was pretty chilly. Something eventful always happens with the weather so this year was pretty mild in comparison. We've had a couple of years where it looked like we would be struck by lightning before we could make it a dock...those days aren't quite as relaxing. =)
