We had a little bit of excitement around our house last week. First, Mojo stepped on something at Sis. Lynne's house. We didn't see what it was but he came in the house limping, crying, trying to chew his foot off. I just gave him some Benadryl and hoped for the best.
Two days later, it happened again! This time his paw was super red and swollen. I walked outside and found one of these things walking down the sidewalk.
Sure enough! We had a whole family of very poisonous caterpillars invading our yard. The adults are about 4 inches long! Word has it that they cause extreme pain, swelling, and even fever when touched.
The girls and I went into attack mode....code red. We found 9 of these crazy things!
I attacked the beasts with a can of Raid, Lupita scooped them up in the dust pan, and Sara manned the camera. Operation Attack Caterpillars was a success! =)
