MOJO THE MISSIONARY DOG
SGK Pet Designs, on South Gloster in Tupelo, has been raising funds to support one of their regular customers, Mojo. Mojo, a small terrier mix, is going to Guatemala with his mom, Amber Corey. Amber will be working at an orphanage to help build a new facility that will be able to house children and enable them a better chance at a successful future. She will also help with the administration of a Bible college that is equipping pastors with tools to minister. Amber is willing to give up 13 months of her life but couldn't manage without her Mojo. He is her constant companion (and maybe the children will love having him around, too). They leave in June and will be gone for 13 months.
SGK has been raising funds though their “Pennies for a Pup on a Mission” fundraiser and will present the money on Friday, April 27. Join us at 4:30 p.m. for a short ceremony. Refreshments will follow.
