So much has been going on and I haven't updated my blog in forever so I figured I'd do a random bullet update. I'll try to keep it in chronological order. =)
- We had a Thrift Store Formal at youth for a valentine party. It was sooo much stinking fun! You should have seen my awesome dress! Everyone went all out and did a fabulous job of dressing up. We really decked out the fellowship hall too...it was hilarious! I'm trying to talk Brooke into letting me steal her pictures. Maybe I'll just link to her post....here.
- I made a 100 on my Spanish Test....WOOHOOO!!!! My spanish is really coming along, which is a really good thing since I have an oral presentation on Thursday.
- Tina and I decided at the last minute to go to California for No Limits...It was sooooo much fun! I loved every minute of it. I'll upload pictures at some point in the future. We had it goin' on. =)
- Melody, Jessica, and I (with the help of Katie) hosted a wedding shower for Chrissy K. last Thursday. I had the idea of doing brown and blue polka dots...it came out sooo cute! The room really looked adorable and all of our food was so yummy. High five, girls!
- My laptop had a sad death last week...hence a post without any pictures. Thankfully Dustin managed to salvage all of my files and he ordered me a new harddrive with a lot more space...woohoo!
- We are leaving for Puerto Rico on Friday.....yes, this Friday! I'm super excited about our trip. I found us a place to stay in Old San Juan. It's a Penthouse apartment with an outdoor bedroom on the terrace. It'll be an adventure, that's for sure!
- I have so much stuff for the orphanage in Guatemala! I've gotten lots and lots of shoes, candy, crayons, sidewalk chalk, glow sticks, coloring books, construction paper, and jump ropes. I managed to find a bilingual Leappad for $15!!!! I went back yesterday and found a little computer with games and learning activities that is also bilingual for $15. I found a Elmo computer program and booklet in spanish too! I'm having so much fun gathering up all of this stuff. If you had something you wanted to donate, bring it Wednesday night. =)
