Update on my life....

Things have been completely crazy this week....a good crazy tho.

There are so many exciting things going on....

My friends, Tony and Kim and 2 of their children are in China right now. They are bringing home precious little Lily. http://www.pintaroadoption.blogspot.com/ Melody and Dawson are watching their 2 youngest kids. I spent the night over there last night to give them a small little break.

Dustin, my brother, is in Australia. He left here on the 14th and won't be home until August the 1st! We all miss him (and are very jealous) =)

We are in the process of redoing Dustin's bedroom and bathroom. It seems like we are constantly redoing something at our house. We also entertain a lot, so that makes our construction a bit more difficult. Dustin's bathroom is almost finished. His room is going to be a bigger project. we are knocking out some walls, extending his entrance way, scraping the ceilings, and all of that messy stuff.

This past weekend, all of the girls in the youth group spend the night Friday, and we went swimming Saturday. It was a blast! I think about 15 girls spent the night...about 20 ended up swimming on Saturday.

Vacation Bible School starts tomorrow so this weeks going to be even more crazy. VBS is always a lot of fun and the kids love it. However, it's also a lot of stress...yikes. =) My friend (and brother's girlfriend) Amber F., will be spending this week with me and helping out with VBS.

Saturday, I'm having the college and career group over for a cookout. It looks like this will be our largest activity yet. We reformatted the group in April and we have been growing a bit every month. I'm planning for 30 this Saturday. Woohoo!

So, yeah, that's the current status of what all is going on in "the chaos that is my life". You should see what the next few weeks add! =)
